Kotaku: "Last week during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, I sat down with three gentlemen from CD Projekt Red to discuss their upcoming RPG The Witcher 3. We know it's an open-world game for PC and next-gen consoles, and that it will bring the story of the Witcher Geralt of Rivia to a close. We're guessing it'll be a lustful, sexy time. I've had my share of complaints about the second game and things I'd like to see in the new one. But what do the guys making the game have to say?"

Bungie design director Joe Staten says studio looked at movies for Halo, but shifted to serial TV for new shooter.
Serial television shows like The Wire, Lost, and Battlestar Galactica served as inspiration for Bungie's new shooter . Design director Joe Staten told GameSpot last week during the Game Developers Conference that this was not the case with Halo.
"I think typically, for the Halo games, we looked at movies. But really for this game, we looked at serial television; great dramas like Lost or The Wire; Battlestar Galactica," Staten said.
"When you're building a world and you want to evolve it over time, it really helps to have an understanding of how you build this longer-form narrative. So for us, that was a really interesting new thing we did," he added. AR: If there was one recurring theme with Android games at Game Developers Conference 2013, it was certainly about controllers. Ouya had its uneviling for the product that will get into Kickstarter backers hands. Green Throttle had a presence around the show, demoing its controller to devs, press and to attendees at the Pocket Gamer party, showing off its multiplayer functions. MOGA wanted to go with a professional, highly-playable controller, that they demoed with their Pro controller.
